Group Tax Manager

On behalf of a leading Renewables firm in Dublin with operations across multiple jurisdictions, we are looking to hire a Group Tax Manager.

This is a broad, hands on role, working closely with stakeholders across the business and reporting into senior leadership. You will take ownership of the group's tax function, from compliance and audits through to transfer pricing and ad hoc advisory work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee outsourced tax compliance, reporting and planning, including accurate and timely tax filings and monitoring legislative changes that may impact the group's tax position.
• Advising on the tax implications of new jurisdictions and overseeing tax matters relating to foreign operations, including income tax, VAT and withholding tax.
• Leading on management of tax audits, including responding to information requests, presenting supporting documentation, and reviewing internal processes from a tax perspective.
• Ownership of transfer pricing and management fee arrangements, including updating policies and preparing supporting documentation with advisor input.
• Providing ad hoc tax advice across the organisation, including on transactions and projects, and preparing tax policies and procedures.
• Coordinating third party advisors on due diligence for prospective projects and preparing tax structuring advice for new acquisitions.

Who We're Looking For

• Big 4/Top 10 practice trained tax professional, CTA/AITI qualified or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years PQE, ideally with multi-jurisdiction exposure
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish corporate tax, EU tax directives and cross-border tax issues
• M&A experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, comfortable managing stakeholders under tight deadlines
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can build processes from the ground up
