We are recruiting an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager for a six-month fixed-term contract, supporting a Group Finance team through its year-end reporting cycle.

Reporting to the Group Director of Financial Control, you will play a key role in delivering Group reporting, technical accounting, external audit and tax reporting. This opportunity suits a technically strong qualified accountant with listed-company experience who enjoys working within a collaborative, hands-on team.

The role

  • Support the year-end reporting process and preparation of the Group's annual report.
  • Prepare IFRS technical accounting assessments and papers, including accounting for acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and other complex transactions.
  • Deliver goodwill and intangible asset impairment reviews.
  • Coordinate external audit requirements and resolve audit queries.
  • Prepare and review Group consolidation schedules, reconciliations and financial statement disclosures.
  • Support tax accounting and deferred tax calculations.
  • Provide technical support for monthly reporting and consolidation, while improving reporting processes, controls and documentation.

About you

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
  • Significant Group Reporting, Financial Reporting or Technical Accounting experience within an AIM-listed or other listed company.
  • Proven experience of Group consolidations, annual report preparation and year-end audits.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge, including technical accounting assessments and impairment reviews.
  • Good understanding of tax accounting, deferred tax and financial statement disclosures.
  • Confident using consolidation and financial reporting systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic, with strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership and deliver to tight deadlines.

Experience within an international, multi-entity group would be advantageous, particularly across media, marketing services, consulting or professional services.

You must be available to start immediately and able to attend the London office two days per week.

To apply, please send your CV with details of your availability.
