The role - Group Reporting Lead

Cedar are proud to be partnering with an impressive business that, following a great 2025, are looking to expand their reporting team with the appointment of a Group Reporting Lead. This is an opportunity to join high performing team at the heart of the Group's finance function and offers international exposure. You will play a central role in delivering accurate, high-quality reporting and maintaining strong financial governance across an expanding business. The position combines technical depth with visibility across senior leadership, including executives.

Overview
  • Group Reporting and Consolidation: Produce accurate, timely consolidated accounts and financial statements, ensuring consistent, insightful management reporting and high-quality outputs for the Annual Report.
  • Technical Standards: Uphold best practice in IFRS application, internal policies, and all external financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior stakeholders and executive leaders, providing trusted financial insight and ensuring clear communication across the business.
  • Audit and Governance: Support the delivery of statutory audits, coordinating information and reporting for Audit and Risk Committee review.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across reporting processes and financial systems.
About you
  • Qualifications: ACA or equivalent qualification.
  • Background: Practice trained with a minimum of one year experience in industry.
  • Experience: Proven experience in group reporting. Exposure to the energy sector or an infrastructure heavy environment is ideal.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IFRS and internal control frameworks.
  • Personality: Confident, inquisitive and engaging.
