GROUP LEADER (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT)

Salary range of£48,226 - £51,356 per annum(subject to 2026/27 Pay Award)

Cardiff is one of the UK's fastest growing, most ambitious cities, and our Planning service sits at the heart of that transformation. We're looking for an experienced and motivated person to join as a Group (Team) Leader in our Development Management team and help deliver high quality development across the capital of Wales.

You'll lead and inspire a team of up to 10 planning officers, managing a diverse and fast paced caseload of planning applications. Working alongside friendly, expert colleagues across Development Management, Placemaking, Heritage & Conservation, City Centre Design and Planning Policy, you'll play a key role in shaping Cardiff's future.

Whilst one post is currently advertised, we may consider the recruitment of more than one officer if we receive applications from excellent candidates.
