The business operates across multiple sites and divisions, and have a lean, ambitious leadership team based in the Dartford / North West Kent area.

Job Description

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Group Financial Controller / Group Accountant will:

  • Lead the monthly consolidation of group accounts across multiple trading entities
  • Own technical accounting, audit preparation, and compliance processes
  • Support M&A integration, including acquisition accounting and systems harmonisation
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with operational teams
  • Help implement and optimise the ERP system for group-wide reporting
  • Identify and deliver process improvements across reporting and controls
  • Play a key role in shaping the future finance structure as the group scales
The Successful Applicant

The successful Financial Controller / Group Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong technical accounting and group consolidation experience
  • A background in multi-entity, multi-site environments
  • Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and strong commercial awareness

It would also be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience in a Private Equity-backed business
  • Exposure to M&A and post-acquisition integration and alignment of processes and systems.
What’s on Offer
