One of the largest and most successful organisations in the North West is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join its finance team. This is a key role that will support the organisation both commercially and strategically, providing financial insight and partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business performance and growth.

The Rewards

As the successful Group Accountant you will receive:

• Salary: £50,000 - £52,000.

The Role

The Group Accountant will be responsible for:

• Maintenance, review and audit of financial records and accounting systems.
• Financial forecasting and strategic planning.
• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts.
• Oversight and completion of multiple sets of accounts.
• Inter-company, balance sheet, bank and supplier reconciliations.
• Management accounts and variance analysis.
• Preparation of statutory company accounts.

The Person

The successful Group Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified through ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
• Commercial experience preparing accounts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Effective communication and analytical.
