Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Limerick and surrounding areas

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

You're an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, Supervisor or Foreman who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high standards and building strong customer relationships.

At Ground Control, we're looking for a Contract Supervisor to support the delivery of Grounds Maintenance and Winter Maintenance contracts across Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, develop your surveying, quoting and client management skills, and build a pathway towards a future Contract Manager role.

What you'll do:
  • Carry out site inspections and quality audits.
  • Support surveying and quoting for additional works.
  • Manage and support field teams and subcontractors.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Coordinate labour, materials and resources.
  • Drive high standards of safety, quality and service delivery.
  • Support contract performance and identify improvement opportunities.

What we're looking for:
  • Experience in Grounds Maintenance, Landscaping, Arboriculture or a similar outdoor environment.
  • Experience leading operational teams or crews.
  • Strong understanding of site standards and service delivery.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
