Grounds Maintenance Monitoring Officer

We are currently recruiting for part time Grounds Maintenance Monitoring Officer. As a proactive and observant individual, you will to help in ensuring the enhancement and maintenance of parks, open spaces and green environments across the Borough.

In this varied role, you will monitor grounds maintenance activities to ensure work is delivered on time, safely, and to the standards set out in the contract specification. This will include undertaking site-based inspections and escalating any issues with the contractor.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with the ability to effectively deal with customer enquiries and liaise with third parties to ensure any complaints are handled efficiently. Whilst a background in a grounds maintenance environment and knowledge of contract management would be an advantage, excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload is a must.
