Graph Database Data Engineer

This consultant position is part of the goFintel project, that helps with detecting, preventing and countering the financing of terrorism.

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the technical lead of the goFintel team.

The job will entail the following duties:

• Architect the graph database
• Develop algorithms and data flows
• Write queries for retrieving data from and modifying data in the graph database
• Provide technical documentation

The Incumbent MUST have experience with a graph database in production. We use JanusGraph.

What we are looking for:

• Proficient with graph databases and graph data modeling
• 3+ years working knowledge of either Gremlin Query Language or Cypher is required
• 3+ years hands-on experience with any graph system database in production is required
• Knowledge of python would be good
• Fundamentals in Data engineering are expected.
