Pay Rate: £85 - £105 per day

GSL Education are looking to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a thriving secondary school in York. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will

• Provide classroom support to teachers and students across KS3 and KS4.
• Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning and progress.
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive engagement.
• Adapt support strategies to meet the needs of students, including those with SEN.
• Gain valuable insight into teaching practices and school life.

The ideal candidate will

• Hold a degree in any subject area (2:2 or above preferred).
• Be passionate about education and supporting young people.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be resilient, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Be considering a career in teaching or education in the future.
