Salary: Contact hours are paid at a multiplier of 2.5 basic hours for group teaching to include preparation time spent in the classroom delivering teaching, class preparation; course administration; ('the multiplier') totalling £56.96/ £67.49 (basic hourly rate starts from £23.46 per hour, inclusive of London Allowance). Marking is paid at the basic hourly rate using plain time hours (from £23.46) and is part of the teaching contract.

We have unrivalled expertise and produce world leading research in comparative law (China, Africa, South/South East Asia, the Middle East), complemented by specialists in international and transnational law, human rights, transnational commercial law, environmental law and socio legal method. RoleSOAS School of Law is creating a pool of experienced teachers who are interested in joining us as and when a suitable teaching opportunity becomes available. We are looking for teachers with strong communication skills who are confident in teaching native and non native English speakers from around the globe.
We are collecting speculative applications for teachers who can provide teaching online or on campus for non degree, daytime and/or evening, language courses.
