Job Description

Role purpose
Bridges is seeking an M&E Graduate Project Engineer to support our Frameworks with Wessex Water, delivering planned and reactive engineering projects on water and wastewater sites in the region.

This role will support Project Managers across various projects, contributing to the team's success.

The ideal candidate will quickly learn the full project management process, offering a clear progression pathway within the company.

Across sectors like Water, Power, Energy, and Aggregates, supported by our regional offices and manufacturing hub in Somerset, we deliver projects valued from £5k to £15m, acting as Principal Contractor, Principal Designer, and supporting Tier 1 contractors.

The Role

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote (client meetings may take precedence). The initial months will be full-time in the office until you are ready to take ownership of your work.

You should be located within a reasonable distance to our Swansea office and willing to travel to client sites.

Requirements include a strong understanding of engineering principles and good business acumen.

  • Willingness to undertake Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)
  • Appropriate engineering qualification and knowledge of engineering principles
  • Experience with planning software such as Microsoft Project
  • Ability to analyze project performance and produce reports
  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle
