Graduate Legal Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded solicitors' firm based in North West London.

Working as part of the Residential Conveyancing team, this is an ideal opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to develop their conveyancing experience within a growing and professional firm.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of six months' experience in a legal support role, within residential or commercial conveyancing. This position is well suited to someone looking to build on their existing experience and develop a long-term career.

Duties include:

• Assisting with a range of post-completion tasks, including completing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms
• Processing applications and registrations at Companies House
• Supporting pre-completion work, including liaising with fee-earners, mortgage lenders and clients to obtain documentation and updates
• Providing administrative support to fee-earners on their caseloads, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Legal degree - essential
• Experience in conveyancing - essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
