Academics is working with welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Slough that are seeking enthusiastic Graduate Inclusion Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional learning needs while developing the skills needed for a future career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or SEN support.

As a Graduate Inclusion Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
  • Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
  • Support children's emotional, social, and academic development
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
