We're partnering with an ambitious and fast-growing organisation in Cambridge seeking an exceptional Graduate Finance Assistant to join their collaborative finance team. Working closely with experienced finance professionals, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting and commercial finance activities while receiving ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and payments
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash management
• Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Raising sales invoices and maintaining financial records
• Assisting with budgeting, reporting and financial analysis
• Supporting finance projects and process improvements
• Working with internal stakeholders across the business
• Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail across all financial transactions

About You

We're seeking someone who combines academic excellence with ambition and a genuine interest in pursuing a finance career.

You'll likely have:

• A strong academic background, ideally a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A proactive and inquisitive mindset
• Outstanding communication skills
• The drive and determination to progress towards a professional qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA)

Previous finance experience is welcome but not essential. Attitude, aptitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
