Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career in engineering geology with a talented specialised geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy?

An established and growing geotechnical and engineering geology consultancy based in Watford is looking to recruit a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on site experience, personal training and development opportunities, and exposure to a wide range of ground investigation and geotechnical projects. As well as gaining exposure to site work, you will also get the chance to learn how to write a range of technical reports.

The Role:

• Assisting with ground investigations on site
• Soil and rock logging in accordance with BS5930 and Eurocode 7
• Supervising and assisting with boreholes, trial pits, and in-situ testing
• Monitoring groundwater levels and gas where required
• Supporting geotechnical data collection and interpretation
• Liaising with drilling contractors, laboratories, and subcontractors
• Assisting with factual and interpretative geotechnical reporting
• Working across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects

About You:

• Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to learn with a practical, hands-on approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of UK ground investigation practices and standards
• Full UK driving licence (or working towards one)
