Graduate Engineer - Field Services (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Develop hands-on technical skills in instrument troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Provide high-quality after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships.
• Perform efficient instrument troubleshooting and preventive maintenance according to RDK specifications.
• Adhere to SLA-defined response times for phone and onsite support, keeping leadership informed of product issues.
• Promote and comply with health, safety, and environmental policies, using risk assessment tools to ensure workplace wellbeing.
• Organize and manage spare parts inventory, returning unused parts to prevent excess stock.
• Accurately complete service documentation and expense/travel tasks within specified timelines.
• Follow company policies and service contract requirements for all service activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for service processes.
• Be willing to travel within New Zealand, work overtime as required, and take on additional responsibilities.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical) or Science; EAS registration or ability to obtain is desirable.
• Technical proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and general computing/software packages; understanding of diagnostic/research labs is advantageous.
• Customer-centric approach with ability to foster collaborative relationships and genuine interest in customer satisfaction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in building productive relationships and influencing stakeholders.
• Resilience and adaptability to perform effectively in demanding environments, working independently or as part of a team.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
• Strategic thinking with ability to monitor industry trends and take actionable steps to add value.

• Full eligibility to live and work in New Zealand, valid unrestricted driver's license, and capability to drive for work purposes.
