About Rathbones Asset Management We follow a high-conviction, active management style, focused on long-term outcomes. Our portfolio managers work in small, independent teams, with the freedom to make decisions and the accountability to back them up. We work with a range of clients, including institutions, intermediaries and financial advisers. What you'll experience As a graduate analyst trainee, you'll rotate across key areas of the business, including: Fund Management Investment Operations Distribution Oversight Risk Strategy and Business ManagementYou'll contribute to analysis, financial modelling, process improvement and team collaboration. You'll also work with colleagues across marketing, compliance and operations, giving you a broad view of how asset management works. What we're looking for We're looking for graduates who want to learn, get stuck in and take charge of where they go next. You'll need: A 2:1 degree in your undergraduate degree in any subject A genuine interest in investment and financial markets Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Confidence with numbers and attention to detail A collaborative mindset and respect for others Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to get involved Awareness of industry developments and regulation Strong IT literacy, including an interest in automation and AIYou'll be expected to study for your Investment Management Certificate, starting in April 2027 after your probation period. Depending on your role and interests, you may also pursue further qualifications such as CFA, CAIA or operational certifications.
