Job Description

Peamount Healthcare is an independent voluntary organisation that operates in partnership with the HSE Health Region, Dublin and Midlands to provide a range of health and social care services. Peamount Healthcare is a registered charity and is directly funded by the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004. The hospital provides consultant led, multidisciplinary, specialist rehabilitation services to patients at the right time and in the right place, which improve patient outcomes.

  • Job Title & Grade - Grade VII Administration Manager
  • Tenure - Permanent Full Time
  • Hours of Work - 35 Hours - the allocation of these hours will be at the discretion of the Department Head and in accordance with needs of service
  • Department - Medical Admin
  • Location of Post - Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin
  • Working Model - Fully Onsite
  • Remuneration - Current salary scale with effect from 1st 06/26: €61,219 (point 1) to €79,583 (LSIs).
  • Annual Leave - As per Health Service Executive (HSE)
  • Closing Date - Wednesday July 22nd
  • Proposed Interview Date - To be confirmed - At least 1 weeks' notice will be provided. Shortlisted candidates are expected to make themselves available.
  • Take Up Appointment - August 2026 - Successful applicant(s) must be available to take up the role within a reasonable timeframe
  • Reporting Relationship - Director of Rehabilitation

PURPOSE OF THE POST

The post holder will provide administrative management support to Peamount Healthcare reporting into the Director of Rehab

Point on Salary Scale

New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale ( exceptions may apply for the below grades, provided proof of recognised service is submitted by VOS)

  • Clinical and Therapy Grades and Staff Nurses : Incremental credit may be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011) in the Civil Service, local authorities, public service, health service and other public service bodies and statutory agencies.
