Job Description
What you need to know

We are hiring a Grade IV HR Officer in the public/healthcare sector located in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

Initial 6 month contract, rolling month to month thereafter.

Full time onsite Mon Fri 9 5pm.

Key duties & responsibilities
  • Support the Human Resources Manager with various ad hoc HR administrative tasks.
  • Ensure employee personnel files are accurate, current, and compliant with legal, HR, and financial standards.
  • Update and manage HR systems and databases, including SAP where relevant.
  • Offer guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, such as sick pay and attendance management.
  • Review and process HR documentation before forwarding it to the finance department.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations & HR Management and other relevant stakeholders as needed.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
What are we looking for
  • 2-3 years HR administration experience - essential
  • Public Sector experience - advantageous
  • ERP systems experience i.e. SAP preferable
  • Strong IT/computer skills - proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in own initiative and be a team player
  • Attention to detail imperative.
