We are delighted to represent an independent, family-owned veterinary group seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their thriving, purpose-built practice in Bristol - a vibrant city known for its mix of culture, countryside and coastal access. This is an outstanding opportunity for a vet with 3+ years of experience who values clinical excellence, teamwork and genuine work-life balance. You'll join a highly experienced and supportive team, including a Head Vet, six RVNs and a dedicated client care team - all working collaboratively to deliver exceptional small animal care in a welcoming, modern environment.
About the RoleYou'll play an integral part in delivering preventive care, diagnostics, and surgery, supported by a team that values communication, compassion and professional growth. Each full-time vet works four days per week with a fixed day off for continuity, and each shift includes a mix of consulting and surgery. To support a healthy workflow, vets also receive a dedicated daily hour for administrative tasks.
Weekend work is shared on a 1-in-4 rota, with no out-of-hours, ensuring a sustainable work-life balance. Flexible working arrangements are also available for the right candidate.
