The role is to cover a vacancy created by a team promotion/secondment (which we do a lot of) and is a great opportunity for you to bring your organisational expertise and governance knowledge to support our Executive Team, Board, Committees, and the Paradigm Foundation Trustees.
What you'll do:
- Organise and support Board and Executive meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
- Maintain company records and manage compliance filings.
- Oversee governance for the Paradigm Foundation, managing Trustees and charitable grants.
- Handle data protection queries and support corporate events.
What you'll bring:
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to produce accurate, succinct minutes.
- Discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of governance, housing, or charity sectors (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Reduced-Hours OpportunityWe welcome applications from candidates interested in a reduced-hours contract (circa 30 hours over 4 or 5 days) please specify this clearly at the application stage. Our standard weekly hours are 37-hour; 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday, and 09:00 - 17:00 on Fridays. - There are some key dates that you'll need to be in work for when we have Board and Committee meetings, which are scheduled in advance so that you can planaccordingly.
Role is hybrid: at least 2 days in the office3 days remote/home.
Whilst position is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover a vacancy created by a recent promotion within the team. Given the scale of our organisation and the ongoing opportunities within Paradigm, there is potential for other roles or extensions to arise. Many of our team members have successfully transitioned from fixed-term positions to long-term roles within the organisation, building rewarding careers. Even if a longer-term opportunity does not emerge, this role provides valuable experience to enhance your career in governance and related fields.
