We're looking for a Governance Executive to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of £38,000 - £X43,000 (depending on experience) and a hybrid working pattern.
What you will be doing;
- Manage the annual governance calendar and arrange Council, Board and committee meetings, including rooms, catering, technology and travel.
- Schedule meetings, circulate papers and maintain attendance records.
- Act as a first point of contact for members' administrative queries and monitor the governance inbox.
- Administer member inductions, reappointments and retirements, keeping records accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate the weekly governance newsletter and retain meeting documents in line with ICAEW policy.
- Support the team's GDPR, compliance and internal control processes, adapting to changing priorities in a busy office.
What you will need;
- Experience supporting a busy team with competing deadlines and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- The confidence to correspond with Council and Board members, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Sound judgement when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- A proactive, conscientious approach: able to work independently and support colleagues when needed.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams, plus confidence learning new systems such as Diligent and Dynamics 365.
