Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate, clear and concise minutes and records.
Good verbal communication skills and confidence when communicating with governors, school leaders and other stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate governance documentation and records.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email systems and online meeting platforms.
Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively and take ownership of tasks.
Professional, reliable and highly organised approach to work.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Experience of administration, minute taking, clerking or supporting formal meetings (desirable).
Understanding of governance, committee or board processes (desirable).
Experience working within education, the public sector or another regulated environment (desirable).
Ability to provide procedural support and follow established governance processes.
Willingness to attend evening meetings and travel to schools across the Trust as required.
Commitment to safeguarding, integrity, professionalism and high standards of service.
Willingness to undertake training and professional development, including the NGA Clerking Qualification.
Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos, values and mission of St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust.
