Job Description

Rentokil Initial first engaged with Workday in 2012, and has since deployed the Product to 18 markets. Workday has become a significant area of focus for the business with a deployment roadmap over 3 years and a number of identified opportunities to deliver business capability and value. This role reports to the Workday Support Manager, working closely with the Global Workday Solution Managers as well as the country HR and Operations teams.

The Workday Analysts are responsible for providing a responsive service supporting the adoption, development, and continued deployment of Workday. This opportunity provides technical and functional administration of Workday, including day-to-day support and supporting ongoing project implementations. You'll be working across various Workday modules such as global HCM, Absence, Performance, Compensation, Payroll, and Time.

You will support the maintenance of Workday, including integrations, mass data uploads (EIBs), security, and reporting. The role involves a blend of BAU HRIS work and involvement in strategic projects to improve Workday usage and capabilities. You will troubleshoot and diagnose issues, looking for opportunities to continually improve the functionality and adoption of Workday. Additionally, you will develop and maintain complex Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, and support existing custom reports while conducting regular report reviews to ensure all data meets security and data privacy standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Workday System Maintenance and Support:
    • Incident Management: Monitor and manage the Workday support queue, prioritise and resolve Tier 1 & 2 incidents, troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve system issues, and ensure operational effectiveness through proactive reviews.
    • Release Management & Testing: Support semi-annual releases, including regression and unit testing, and participate in the SDLC from requirements gathering to deployment.
    • Data Management: Develop and manage EIB data loading strategies, ensure data quality, and resolve system issues.
  2. Workday Optimisation and Improvement:
    • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to optimise Workday efficiency, automate processes, and enhance user adoption.
    • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and enhance reporting capabilities, maintain a reporting catalog, and build custom reports and dashboards.
  3. User Training and Support:
    • Customer Service: Provide excellent global customer service to all Workday users.
    • Training and Documentation: Deliver Workday training and develop knowledge articles and training materials.
  4. Continuous Learning:
    • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with Workday updates, releases, and best practices.

Experience: At least 1 year HRIS Support experience with Workday, managing service requests via a ticketing system, developing dashboards, reports, and experience with Workday integrations. Knowledge of mass transactions and data uploads is also preferred.
