Global Principal Packaging Engineer

Global Principal Engineer, subject matter expert in high-speed automation with emphasis on device assembly and packaging. Responsible for developing standards and best practices in equipment and automation for all PCI sites, ensuring consistent high standards across manufacturing of drug-device combination products.

• Lead engineering standards and best practices for assembly & packaging equipment specification, build management, and commissioning across all PCI sites.
• Strategically focus on equipment specific technology development appropriate to the PCI CDMO environment.
• Work with Business Development and new clients to define equipment and process requirements; provide subject matter expertise and hands on work during equipment design, FAT, SAT, and validation.
• Maintain quarterly business reviews for responsible OEMs and drive KPIs to achieve best in class performance.
• Develop a skill set gap analysis for engineers and technicians; troubleshoot high speed automation assembly and packaging equipment.
• Develop an ongoing technical training academy to enhance equipment knowledge, support troubleshooting, and reduce mean time to recovery on equipment issues.
• Adhere to PCI, cGMP, and cGCP policies, procedures, rules and regulations applicable to assigned tasks.
• Work overtime and/or weekend work as required.
