Global Design Project Manager (80-100%)
In a nutshell
You will play a central role in the clarification, specification and efficient processing of systems and solutions.

Bystronic's vision is to create an automated and seamlessly integrated Smart Factory. The Global Design Team as part of the Systems Division aims to help our customers in mastering and optimizing their factory end-to-end production and business processes. Our enthusiastic team is building scalable and modular systems and solutions through the combination of machines, automation, and software - together with our customers, we define, plan, and implement a networked production environment.
What you will be doing
Manage and document systems and systems solutions requests with speed, responsiveness, completeness and quality
Ensure seamless and precise documentation in alignment with key stakeholders (R&D, Solution Sales consultants, 3rd party suppliers, implementation teams, factory order centers)
Monitor project progress proactively - for both pre-sales projects and ordered projects until handover to the implementation team
Contribute and support the standardization across the end-to-end Systems process
Drive collaboration and support the peers to balance the team workload
Your education & experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years of relevant professional experience in order/project management in a B2B environment or similar
Experience in handling feasibility or technical request processes in an international B2B setting
Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus

Collaboration - As a reliable partner you foster open communication and alignment with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless information flow and success across departments.
Your edge
Solid understanding of industrial machinery or technical systems (ideally in sheet metal processing or automation)
Knowledge of pre-sales and order fulfillment processes in a technical environment
Familiarity with visualization tools such as CAD, configurators, ticketing tools, structured documentation systems, and technical evaluation standards
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies
