GL Accountant 100%

As a 100% GL Accountant, you will be responsible for the complete management of general accounting activities and financial reporting. This permanent position is based in the southern part of the canton of Fribourg, bordering with the Accountant 100%. Our client is a medium-sized company operating in the industrial sector regarding general accounting, including journal entries and bank reconciliations; Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; Ensuring the follow-up of fixed assets and depreciation; Supervising the accounting closing processes; Collaborating with external and internal auditors; Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards; Participating in accounting processes and financial systems; Providing analytical support to the finance team for decision-making in accounting and finance; a degree is a plus; Similar experience of 3 to 5 years minimum; Good knowledge of local accounting standards Swiss GAAP, IFRS is a plus; Comfortable with ERPs, SAP is a plus; French C1, English B2; Ability to work in a team, independently, and with rigor; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
