Job Description

Excellent opportunity for candidates with either academic or commercial GIS experience to join an established team in Glasgow City Centre on a hybrid basis.

Skills & Experience Required

Proficiency with GIS software, ideally ESRI ArcGIS
Experience of working with data from asset management systems, ideally SAP • Experience with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python
Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel
Experience in working with large datasets and in analysing data quality
Analytical mindset.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Problem solving
Ability to quickly learn new software applications
Decisive, able to quickly recommend changes
Flexible and adaptable to change
Good communication skills including the ability to provide feedback and escalate issues
Able to manage work in a structured and organised way, and to present back in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work within a team
