Bring the magic of Scotland to life for German-speaking cruise guests!
Join our dynamic team as a German-speaking Tour Guide and share the breathtaking beauty of the Scottish Highlands with international cruise passengers. Based in Inverness, you'll lead unforgettable day trips showcasing Scotland's most iconic landscapes, castles, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Guide German-speaking cruise passengers on day excursions departing from and returning to Inverness
Deliver engaging commentary on Scottish history, culture, and landmarks
Ensure exceptional customer service throughout each tour
Manage group dynamics, handle queries, and resolve issues professionally
Maintain punctuality and adapt to changing schedules
REQUIREMENTS
Must-haves:
Fluent German and good English (spoken and written)
Residence in Inverness or surrounding area
Strong communication and presentation skills
High service orientation with a warm, confident personality
Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
Organisational skills and sound decision-making
Nice-to-haves:
Additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian, etc.)
Previous tour guiding or customer-facing experience
Knowledge of Scottish history and culture
