A specialist ground investigation and geotechnical company based near Sheffield are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their expanding team on a variety of ground investigation and geotechnical design projects. With a team of specialists and over 25 years of industry expertise, this role is the perfect role to take the next step in your career and expand on your responsibilities and skillset.

The successful Geotechnical Engineer will be overseeing ground investigations, writing factual and interpretive reports carrying out desktop studies, contributing to Geotechnical Design Reports and Ground Investigation reports, borehole logging and trial pitting, soil sampling, groundwater and gas monitoring and mentoring junior members.

To be successful in this Geotechnical Engineer application process you must have experience in the engineering geology industry (geotechnical/geo environmental/ground investigation) and have a relevant degree (for example in Geology, Geoscience, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering etc). Applicants must live in or near to Sheffield, hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel to work. A full right to work in the UK is essential.
