Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Location: Derby

The Role

As a Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and overseeing ground investigations
• Carrying out Phase 1 Desk Studies and supporting Phase 2 site investigations
• Producing geotechnical and interpretative reports
• Undertaking geotechnical risk assessments
• Soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring and logging
• Liaising with clients, contractors and internal project teams

You will also work closely with senior engineers and have the opportunity to support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Requirements

• A degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience working within a geotechnical or ground investigation consultancy
• Based within a commutable distance of Derby
• Full UK driving licence
