Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Use formative assessment strategies such as questioning and exit tickets to raise achievement and track pupil progress.
- Act as a powerful force for social mobility by closing the educational gap through high-quality specialist teaching.
- Scaffold and differentiate resources in real-time to meet the diverse needs of SEND, EAL, and Pupil Premium students.
- Contribute to school life through pastoral support, interventions, and coordinating curriculum-related field trips.
- Strong knowledge of physical and human geography, including specialized areas like Geomorphology.
- Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours using positive, proactive, and person-centered strategies.
- Ability to build strong rapport with pupils and colleagues to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Skills to cultivate the next generation of teaching talent and work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants.
- Ability to self-evaluate teaching quality through peer observations and student performance data.

All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.
