Contract: Full-Time Permanent (Preferred) Fixed-Term Contract or Long-Term Supply considered

The Role

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encourage students to develop a strong understanding of both physical and human Geography
• Create engaging and challenging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and achievement
• Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities and backgrounds
• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to help students reach their potential
• Contribute positively to the Humanities department and wider school community
• Support enrichment opportunities, educational visits, and extracurricular activities where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
• Ability to motivate and engage students through creative and effective teaching
• High expectations for student behaviour, progress, and attainment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A collaborative and professional approach to working within a school environment
