Job Title: Geography Teacher

Location: Pattison School, Coventry

Salary: Upto £45,000 per annum

Hours: 12 hours per week, 3 Days a Week

Contract: Permanent Part Time

Start Date: Available for September Start

Creativity sits at the heart of our community, and we are now seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Geography to lead and inspire our visual arts provision.

What you will be doing

We are looking for an engaging and passionate individual to deliver a vibrant Geography curriculum across KS3 and GCSE. This is a wonderful opportunity to shape a dynamic, inclusive Geography curriculum where pupils feel confident to explore, experiment and express themselves.

This post is for 3 days per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on subject expertise.

Role overview
  • Hold QTS and a PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Teach Geography to GCSE level (A-Level experience desirable)
  • Design and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned to GCSE specification
  • Plan well-structured and engaging lessons
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive, committed staff team
  • Promote a stimulating learning environment through display and celebration of pupil work
  • Prepare students effectively for examinations and final assessment requirements
  • Contribute to wider school events and enrichment activities involving the visual arts
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom for all pupils
