The RoleThis is a high-impact, full-time Geography Teacher position starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role is not just about teaching from a textbook; it is about bringing the world to life, facilitating fieldwork, and ensuring every student-regardless of their starting point-makes outstanding progress.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and GCSE specifications.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

- Organisation: Expert at managing workload, marking, and lesson preparation efficiently.
- Collaboration: A team player who works harmoniously with colleagues and trust leaders.
- Plan and deliver well-structured, challenging Geography lessons to all ability levels.
- Assess, record, and report on the development and progress of students consistently.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources.
- Organise and lead geographical fieldwork to enhance student's practical understanding.
- Prepare students for national examinations (GCSE) with targeted revision and support.
- Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the pastoral and personal development of a student group.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student achievement and well-being.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings to drive school improvement.
- Engage in continuous professional development and the school's performance management cycle.
