Geography ITT Trainee Teacher (Permanent) - Start September 2026

Location: Inner London Borough of Southwark

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Are you passionate about Geography and ready to begin your journey into teaching? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic ITT Trainee Teacher of Geography to join our thriving secondary school from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or career changer to train as a teacher while working in a supportive and ambitious school environment. You will be fully supported to develop your classroom practice, subject knowledge, and confidence as you work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

About the Role
  • Train to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 exposure)
  • Work alongside experienced teachers and mentors who will guide your development
  • Gradually take on teaching responsibilities as your confidence grows
  • Engage in a structured training programme leading to QTS
About the ITT Programme
