We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team on a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients ensuring high standards of patient safety and well-being.
Main duties of the job- Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess health conditions and medical histories (face-to face, including home visits and telephone)
- Diagnose a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses using clinical expertise and diagnostic tools
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with current guidelines
- Develop personalised care plans, including referrals to specialists whenneccessary
- Participate in practice meetings, clinical audits, and specialists when necessary
- Contribute to prescribing safety, referral management, and QOF achievement
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention and management strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with organisational standards on SystmOne
Westcroft Health Centre hosts a wonderful team of 6 doctors and 3 Nurse Practitioners on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis.

Job responsibilitiesHours - 4 session over 2 days a week (must be able to work on a Friday)
Salary - £11,000 Per Session
Person Specification Qualifications- Full GMC registration with a license to practice Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List ( or eligible)
- Proven experience as a General Practitioner or similar role within a clinical setting. Experience with patient care across diverse populations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
