General Manager - UK Trade Aftermarket

As Business Unit Automotive Solutions & Lamps we support our vision and strategy by expanding our leading position in the automotive lighting market in OEM and Aftermarket. We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g. with exchangeable LED light sources). We also tackle new growth opportunities in the Aftermarket with our automotive care and equipment portfolio.

We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven automotive aftermarket leader to take responsibility for our UK Trade Aftermarket business.

With full P&L responsibility and leadership of an established sales team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the UK commercial strategy, strengthen strategic customer partnerships and identify new opportunities for sustainable, profitable growth.

• Lead and execute the UK Trade Aftermarket strategy, with ownership of revenue, profitability and overall business performance
• Take full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, reporting and performance management
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team
• Build and strengthen strategic relationships with buying groups, distributors, specialists, independent motor factors and key accounts
• Lead key commercial negotiations, agreements and customer business reviews
• Identify new customers, channels and opportunities to accelerate growth
• Work closely with Product and Marketing to maximise product launches, promotions and market opportunities
• Monitor market and competitor developments and translate insights into commercial action

• Proven leadership experience within the UK automotive aftermarket
• Strong commercial experience, including P&L ownership
• A successful track record of delivering profitable growth
• Strong knowledge of the UK aftermarket landscape and its key customers and channels
• Excellent negotiation and senior stakeholder management skills
• An engaging leadership style with the ability to develop and motivate a team
• A strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands on approach
