General Kitchen Assistant

Contract type: Permanent contract. Hours: 16 hours per week (term time only, plus 3 cleaning days during school closures). Location: St Agnes Academy, Trelawney Road, St Agnes, TR5 0LZ.

Salary: £12.71 per hour (£24,520 per annum pro rata). Start date: As soon as possible. Closing date: 14 May 2026.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve school meals, ensuring the highest standard of food for pupils.
• Clear up and clean after each service.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Experience in a catering environment.
• Desirable: Current food hygiene certificate (training will be provided).
