The Department

Developer Enablement is a function of the CTO organisation. Our mission is to make it easy and enjoyable for software engineering teams to go from a business idea to delivering an innovative product solution. The main goals are to improve and upgrade our tools, streamline our processes, automate and strengthen our controls, and help development teams adopt modern working methods.

The Role

This includesmaintaininga strong personal contribution to technical delivery whilst ensuring your team is supported, empowered, and aligned to our mission.

You'llbalance managing, mentoring, and developing talent with staying close to the engineering work - translating GenAI research into scalable, production grade solutions and bridging experimentation with enterprise deployment.

Our tech stack is diverse, encompassing (but not limited to) Python, Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, Mongo, and Generative AI features requiring adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• LeadGenAI application development, focusing on prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows

• Architect and deliver end-to-end LLM solutions-from experimentation to production

• Design evaluation frameworks to benchmarkand testLLM performance, safety, and behaviour

• Build integration layers connecting LLMs to APIs, middleware, and enterprise systems

• Collaborate across teams to drive adoption of modern engineering practices and GenAI tooling

Experience

• Proven experience as an Engineering Lead, Software Engineering Manager, or similar role

• Strongexpertisein multiple programming languages (preferably Python, Go, and TypeScript), frameworks, and tools

• Have deployed LLM systems to production and understand evaluation, guard-railing, and monitoring

• Proven experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based micro-services, distributed logs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and DevSecOps

• Experience working in a product focused team as opposed to a project focused team is beneficial
