Headquartered in London, our team delivers expertise across major European financial hubs including Paris and Lisbon.
As we continue to grow in France, we're looking for an experienced GDPR Consultant to support our clients with data protection advisory, implementation, and compliance projects across the financial sector.
The Role
You will act as a trusted data privacy advisor, supporting the implementation of GDPR best practices across business lines and assisting clients in aligning with data protection regulations. The role involves working closely with project managers, compliance officers, and data governance teams to help embed Privacy by Design into new and existing initiatives.
This is a client-facing consulting role with a strong delivery focus, suitable for someone who enjoys working across diverse business areas and regulatory challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on GDPR compliance and related privacy frameworks
- Support the integration of Privacy by Design into business processes, systems, and projects
- Manage or contribute to data subject rights requests (DSARs), privacy impact assessments (PIAs), and data processing reviews
- Maintain and develop GDPR documentation, including registers, procedures, and reporting
- Deliver client workshops and internal awareness sessions on privacy and data protection
- Monitor evolving data protection regulations (e.g. EU, UK, global) and advise clients on implications
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience in data protection, privacy consulting, or regulatory compliance
- In-depth understanding of the EU GDPR and its application in complex organisations
- Exposure to financial services or regulated industries is a plus
- Strong organisational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain legal/technical concepts to non-specialists
- Experience handling privacy operations or compliance projects in a corporate or consulting setting
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with privacy platforms or compliance tools (OneTrust, TrustArc, etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge of project management tools or methodologies beneficial
