About the Role / Job Summary:

Morgan Hunt are working with an established Charity who are recruiting for a full time Maths Tutor on a permanent contract. The role will involve working across 2 sites in North London and is offering a salary of up to £40,000, This role is dedicated to providing quality education and training to learners. As a Maths Tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging lessons in Functional Skills and GCSE Maths to post-16 learners. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the academic success of students while working within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver interactive mathematics lessons.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for student funding eligibility.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the quality assurance team.
  • Maintain compliance with educational standards and policies.

Qualifications:

  • A Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Experience in teaching mathematics to post-16 learners.
  • Minimum of grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent).

Education Requirements:

  • Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Mathematics or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the post-16 level.
  • Familiarity with curriculum standards and assessment practices.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners effectively.
