GCP Security Consultant

Permanent role - GCP Security Consultant - London/Hybrid/Remote

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform/GCP Security Consultant to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud security architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with best practices in cloud and cybersecurity.

Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Security Consultant or Security Engineer with hands-on GCP experience.
* Strong knowledge of GCP services and cloud-native security features.
* Experience in securing containerized environments (eg, GKE, Kubernetes security).
* Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Firewall configurations, VPC, and GCP networking.
* Familiarity with SIEM, threat detection and response in cloud environments.
* Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (eg, ISO, NIST, CIS).
* Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
* GCP certifications are highly desirable.
* Banking/Financial Services background preferable

Desirable
* Experience with multi-cloud security strategies (eg, Azure or AWS).
* Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
