Job Summary Student Recruitment Operations are looking for a motivated, proactive graduate to support the preparation and delivery of student recruitment events. You will support with on campus event administration, preparation and delivery, and will also support a wider range of student recruitment initiatives, including digital and online projects. For example, the development of on demand content and our Virtual Campus Tour.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Student Recruitment Operations team is organised on a matrix management structure and so the postholder will regularly work alongside the Student Ambassador Scheme team, Student Experience and Enquiries leaders, gaining insight and support from a wide range of sub teams within SROPs.
The team operates a full induction with workplace buddies and mentors allocated for the period of employment.
About the University Department/Organisation Student Recruitment Operations (SROPs) delivers student recruitment activity for the university across all levels of study (undergraduate and postgraduate); all markets (UK and international) and all programmes of study, in order to support the university's recruitment strategy and aims. The team works across all our campuses and is responsible for nurturing prospective students and enhancing their experience of the recruitment journey. This can include creating and delivering over 200 in person and virtual events, with support from our Exeter Student Ambassador Scheme. The team works in a matrix management approach, with thematic groups focusing on specific areas of recruitment, ranging from digital activity, to events and to enquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Pre event administrative support: Work with the Student Recruitment and Events Officers to assist the planning, preparation, and delivery of an annual programme of online and face to face student recruitment events.
- Manual Event Preparation: Audit, preparation, and manual handling of event related collateral such as banners, signage, gazebos, brochures, and other equipment, as needed before, during, and after events.
- On the Day Event Delivery: Be an integral part of the operational and logistical delivery team for a calendar of activities including large in person on campus events such as Open Days, Offer Holder Visit Days and Campus Tours.
- Virtual Campus Tour (VCT) Filming and Support: Support development of web based student recruitment products.
- Enquiry handling with internal and external suppliers: Support the retention of positive working partnerships across the University and with our external suppliers to plan and deliver customer focused, effective and successful events.
- Ambassador Recruitment support: Assist in the recruitment, briefing and supervision of Student Ambassadors engaged in Student Recruitment Operations activity.
- Following Finance Processes: Using standard University platforms and procedures to support the preparation, authorisation and completion of financial transactions related to student recruitment activity, within agreed budget parameters.
- Experience of large scale event preparation and delivery (Open Days can welcome approx. 12,000 guests per day)
- Logistics Management
- Customer Relations Management systems (CRM) development - training will be given to use our bespoke ambassador database as well as industry recognised platforms (Unibuddy, Gecko, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Data Management and analytics
- Event management (online and face to face)
- Management/preparation of virtual content (video, web)
- Customer and stakeholder engagement - with support, the role is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in stakeholder management, as the post holder will engage daily with internal/external customers with differing priorities.

Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) Scheme Requirements
- To undertake a graduate role through the GBP scheme, you must have either achieved your degree or be nearing completion of your final year at any UK based university.
- If you are nearing completion of your final year, your working hours may be reduced to 15 hours per week (for undergraduates) or 6 hours per week (for postgraduates) to ensure you have the capacity to successfully complete your degree. More hours can be completed if your academic agrees and provides written confirmation.
- If you do not pass your degree, the GBP role will end early.
- You must have graduated in the UK within the last 3 years of your most recent degree (we will consider extenuating circumstances of potential applicants that may have prevented them from undertaking a graduate role within 3 years of graduation).
