In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.
Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.
Semester : Fall and Spring Semester
Adjunct Faculty: Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair
The instructor will be responsible for teaching a 12-week motorcycle repair course. The schedule is Wednesdays from 9 am to 5:30 pm. The purpose of this course is for students to be introduced to basic processes related to preparation and delivery of motorcycles, and to understand basic procedures involved in the set- up and delivery process. Students will learn and apply procedures, use reference materials, become familiar with shop practices relevant to set-up and delivery. In addition, students will be introduced to basic organizational practices and receive an overview of maintenance workflow from intake and service writing, set-up, and delivery.
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period.
The compensation rate is $825-$975 per contact hour or $47.95 - $59.45 per clinical rate per hour if applicable . Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
Minimum Qualifications for the position are as follows:- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduation from a Motorcycle Technician Training Program.
- Experience: Two (2) years' professional experience in the field of Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair
