Gastroenterology Consultant, London

An exciting opportunity for a locum consultant post in the Gastroenterology service at one of the most prestigious London NHS Trusts.

We are looking for a Consultant with an interest in hepatology and liver disease to cover an unexpected gap in service provision. This is a locum assignment of negotiable duration and starts as soon as possible.

This is an excellent chance to work in a world-renowned Centre of Excellence.

Duties will include:

• Regular outpatient clinics for 2WW, acute, and chronic liver disease
• Endoscopy, including ERCP depending on individual competencies (but not essential)
• Ward cover for liver patients on a 1:5 rota
• Opportunity to work additional WLI's to assist with reducing backlog and waiting times

Consultation with the department can be arranged, with a negotiable pay rate depending on experience.
