Gas Service Technician

We are looking for a Gas Service Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our gas storage and distribution facilities. Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (FTC).
Key Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day operation of gas storage and distribution systems.
- Carry out routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of gas equipment.
- Assist with maintenance activities and equipment checks.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.
- Support audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Previous experience working with gas systems, utilities, maintenance, engineering, or a related technical environment.
- Basic understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK driving licence.
- IOSH Working Safely or similar safety training.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, chemical, pharmaceutical, or energy environments.
- Knowledge of pressure systems or gas storage equipment.
This role is ideal for someone with hands on technical experience who is looking to develop their career within gas operations and facilities support. Training and development will be provided for the right candidate.
