Salary £39,283.13 pa + call out payments + high end power tool kit provided + access to company vehicle for work use only

Location: Field Based across Greater Manchester area

Role Purpose

This role involves providing professional gas servicing and repair, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Adhere to regulations and organisational policies, understanding customer needs and tailoring your approach.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Service, diagnose, and repair landlord-owned gas appliances in homes and empty properties.
  2. Complete certifications in line with Gas Safety Regulations.
  3. Report faulty appliances or unsafe conditions to the Gas Manager.
  4. Ensure a good cosmetic finish on work completed.
  5. Report repairs and safeguarding issues noticed during visits.
  6. Update PDA in real-time, communicate with planners regarding job status.
  7. Order parts, materials, or follow-up work as needed, recording work daily outside opti-time.
  8. Meet performance, KPI, and productivity targets.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in gas heating repairs, servicing, and certifying gas works.
  • Sound building and construction knowledge.
  • General building maintenance repair knowledge.
  • Certificates: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1 (BSEN17024).
  • Basic DBS check required.
  • Valid driving licence essential.
  • Participation in on-call rota required.
