Gas Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Gas Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our responsive maintenance contract in Barnsley. You will be responsible for managing a team of schedulers and gas engineers, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance across all aspects of the contract.
Key Accountabilities- Oversee the daily running of the gas contract, supported by an established team of schedulers and engineers.
- Ensure full compliance with the Wates Operating Framework and all relevant gas safety regulations.
- Manage quality control across internal teams and subcontractors delivering gas works.
- Provide technical support for ongoing gas-related tasks and projects.
- Monitor and drive team productivity to meet client KPIs for gas servicing and repairs.
- A valid Domestic Gas Qualification.
- Proven experience managing a gas contract.
- Strong understanding of gas legislation and regulatory requirements.
- SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme - desirable qualification, not a must).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
